New Managing Director for Software Point

Andrea Holmberg retires as Managing Director of Software Point on September 30, 2014 – Marjut Pokkinen appointed new Managing Director effective October 1

Marjut Pokkinen, licentiate of technology, has been appointed new Managing director of Whitelake Software Point Oy effective October 1. In this role she succeeds Andrea Holmberg, who retires on September 30. Andrea Holmberg, doctor of technology, has had the position ever since the company was founded in 1992 and will continue in the Board of Software Point.

I am very excited about the future of Software Point and very pleased with the decision to appoint my long term colleague Marjut the new Managing Director for Software Point”, says Andrea.

Marjut was, together with Andrea and Technical Director Raimo Oinas, one of the founders of Software Point and has worked with the company for over 20 years in different positions. Presently she serves the position of Business Director for LIMS business.
