Support Director, based in the Nordics for LabVantage Healthcare.

What you will do:
You will lead the Support team, which will be serving all of Software Pont’s healthcare customers and will collaborate with both sales and project teams. The team has currently 8 strong resources with a combination of technical and application/clinical background.

Your work will consist in giving technical assistance to Pre-Sales and Sales, participate in customer projects and be responsible for the installation of LIS and instrument communication software’s with belonging database and application server in the Nordic countries. Additionally, you will conduct LIS updates in customers' test and production systems as well as provide technical and application support to already existing customers.

Our strategy is to grow internationally, and we want you to develop a sustainable Support offering for LabVantage Medical Suite. We want you to assess our current offerings, resources, and customer expectations, and use this information to create your plan for the next level Support offerings meeting expectations for customer satisfaction and revenue margin.

You will be the focal point for customer escalations to ensure fast and accurate handling, consistent communication and after-the-fact learnings.

Who you are:
You have a strong technical background and have a passion for digitizing healthcare, and you have experience in leading Support teams. We believe you are a clear thinker, able to inspire your team and lead by example when engaging with customers to solve complex issues, at times under pressure.

You are familiar with working closely with software development teams and enjoy working with agile principles. You have a background from teams delivering operations and/or support with ITIL-based processes. You are familiar with public cloud offerings, both the ability to shift on-premise workloads to cloud environments and SaaS deployment models with increased responsibility for providing services.

You have deployed or support distributed environments with high requirements for uptime and scalability and have an excellent understanding of geo-redundant environments using clustering and load balancing. You understand the security requirements for core clinical applications and are experienced with IDP-providers. You master environments that are built using Linux/Unix/Windows Server, JEE application servers and clustered Oracle/SQL Server.

We think it is a plus if you are familiar with the regulatory requirements for clinical systems under IVDR and providing services as a Data Processor pursuant to GDPR.

Desired skills and qualifications:

  • Preferred Masters degree in Computer science or similar
  • ITIL certification or working experience
  • Architecture and/or programming experience with distributed systems
  • Experience with public cloud providers and agile development/deployment
  • Fluent in English and at least one of the Nordic languages. Additional languages are a plus.
